Dr. Ethan Hyde

Dr. Ethan Hyde was born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan, a suburb just outside the city limits of Detroit. Dr. Hyde completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology. With a background in exercise science and extensive experience working with high-level athletes, Dr. Hyde wanted to pursue a career where he could directly help patients and help them achieve peak performance. Dr. Hyde attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2019. Following graduation, he attended his top choice residency program at St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital, an affiliate of Trinity Health. Dr. Hyde recently graduated from his residency during the summer of 2022 and is actively working to achieve his board certifications from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Hyde has an extensive background in diagnosing, and treating a tremendous variety of pathologies of the lower extremity. During his residency, he had extensive exposure to traumatic injuries, as well as difficult reconstructions. Dr. Hyde has a passion for wound care, diabetic limb salvage, simple and complex foot reconstructions, sports medicine, and advanced minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Hyde is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

In his spare time, Dr. Hyde enjoys spending his time with his fiancee, Katie, a physician assistant and fellow graduate of Temple University. Additionally, he is an avid Michigan State sports fan (Go Green!), as well as Detroit sports fan. When he is not at the hospital you can find Dr. Hyde exploring local breweries, playing soccer, testing out a new recipe, or teaching himself a song on his ukulele. Dr. Hyde is available for same day appointments and is excited to get you back on your feet!
